The overal bitMoney market capacity is booming, yet Bitcoin is losing its dominance over the market quickly. While the value of BTC is going from one All Time High {ATH} to the next one. This is actually a good sign. It means there is more investment overal in the whole of the bitMoney realm. Just a few days back it hit 31 billion US Dollar, three days after that 34... And now it is close to getting to 38 billion! And that is mainly because the so called 'Alts' are boosting, taking over the market once dominated by Bitcoin.
A while ago I stated that it might go through the 50 billion roof soon. It is going like an avalanche and this is the momentum, I think. It is great to be happy of being ahead of it all and that you are one of those early adaptors. And now the next step is to get it mainstream, bring it to the rest of the world. Get it into their field of association. What I mean by that is that it works like this: A good friend has got a new car, shows it to you, touring a bit, it's great, you like it. And you are glad to see the joy of your friend being happy. Suddently you start to see these brand of cars pop up everywhere. Now did the whole world start buying these? No, you just became aware of this car and you mind filter does the rest.
That is the effect that I am going for. And this means that I have to take off my tech loving freak Geek hat. So, no talk of 'Cryptos', not 'Coins' or anything that triggers the Geeks and Nerds among us, cause we like it 'Smart'. We need to step down to earth, to the day to day thing that is to be done with it: SHOPPING. Now, it might not appeal right away, but it has to click, connect to something that is already used for shopping, and that is: money. Keep it simple, distinct, yet keep it easy to associate with. Well, computers have bits. And a lot of people that do not use 'Cryptos' yet, do use computers and can relate to bits. It is a very common word also, and one knows about give a bit and receiving a bit.
Now, connect that to the concept of money and hey presto! This is that what could link it to the mainstream acceptance: bitMoney. And all that needs to be done now is to make this work. To be able to pay as easy as 1-2-3, that we are use to with debt backed money of the banks. So, what comes close to that 1-2-3:PAY? Of course, you are here at Steem and you know the answer to that. It is Steem and Steem Backed Dollar. And how about bitShares, that has quite a nice bunch of pegged tokens like bitEuro! (Yes, of course I am for the hometeams! They are the bitMoney real deal)
BlockPay, by bitshares-Munich, is going to make it real, including Stealth payments. For Steem and many others, including those of the bitShares platform. BitMoney is going to be the next big thing, all we need to do is to give it that brand new car smell and look and it will sell itself. If people can pay with it like 1-2-3:DONE, than it will kick off beyond belief.
Wonder when the market breaks through that 50 billion mark. My guess is before july 2017. Anyway, remember to only put in what you are willing and able to lose and your speculation might be as good or as bad as mine.
