It's foaming mad
A special homebrew made by my Broah
Percentage unknown
Yesterday I did not manage to finish te night off with this one. Still had it in the fridge, ready to be popped. It was part of a crate full of my brother his homebrews. A couple of really smooth Triples and the rest of the crate filled with this type. A heavy foaming one, nameless until yesterday. Inspired by fellow Steemian beer tasting master mister Meesterboom I came up with: 'Bottled Scum' and credo "It's foamin' mad!" (Had trouble fitting it all on a quickly drawn label. Otherwise mad would have been crazy.)
It is a dark brown-orange coloured beer, quite bitter, refreshing bitterness. With afteryeasting on bottle it got a wee bit cloudy. And even though I do not really fancy a true intensely bitter beer, I do appreciate this one. It has a soft aromatic smell, something like spring is in the air. The aftertaste is less bitter and a young Edam cheese snack really matches it.
Now, I had it cooled, also to keep the enormous foam creation down. Still popping the cap made a sound like popping a champagne cork. One of the bottles had so much pressure that it exploded a while back. It is quite a frisky one. Drinking this one is easy, like a pilsner, only has more 'oumph' to it. The amount of alcohol is unkown, but I guess it is close to 9%.
Still have 6 left in the crate, but the summer only has just begun.
Have a great one!
