Already 15 months underway on the Steem blockchain. And it looks like we are on lightspeed, reaching one target after another. Where other blockchains have not even been able to leave the planet, Steem already passed many centauris. The disruptive force of the 3-2-1-DONE blockchain technology finaly seems to have broken through into the realm of the mainstream. It has been an exciting ride so far, with sudden peaks and some bumps up the road. Yet the timing still is right into the momentum. With the Steem Community Tokens within reach, another great jump forward will be made. Where at some point in space-time the technology of EOS might even become part of the Steem blockchain.
The Steem community has shown several times how it can excell. What makes it special, such a different blockchain community, compared to others out there. It is amazing to see it happen, to be a part of it. And we are part of an even bigger family, like Bitshares, Peerplays, Golos and of course the giant amongst them all: EOS. Hard to imagine sometimes that this is really blockchain blogging happing. Not to mention the recent value rise of all wallets, because Steem is hot on the Bitmoney/ Cryptocurrency market. The potential payouts matching the market price of Steem, it is almost like when it all began. Many posts, with all kinds of content like: art, photography, stories, recepies, gardening tips, humor and so much more. All adding real value to the Steem blockchain. Still, the transactions are zero, and that is hard to beat, just like the 1-2-3 blockspeed.
Exciting Steem future ahead
With the ever growing Steem community we will go to new applications. Maybe we actually will be able to move mountains together. Like we have proven to help Steem members in need. Or to help others come to SteemFest, even if they are short of cash for the trip. There is a forum based on Steem called ChainBB, an mobile App with the name of eSteem. There is a webinterface named Busy that makes Steem look like a modern Facebook and there is a better Twitter version, based on Steem, soon to be released. Now the next exciting future developement for Steem, from my point of view, will be the Community Tokens. This will be another huge gamechanger, I would say, that one will bring Steem to the top 3 on the Crypto charts. And I'll leave the calculations what that would mean to the market price of Steem for you to do. So as a tip to the hat to my favorite Science Fictions series Star Trek - The Next Generation, I'll leave you with some famous words of Captain Jean Luc Picard (played by legendary actor Patrick Stewart). For the developement of the Steem Community Tokens I would go for: "Make it so!" And for moving Steem to the cryptos top three I choose: "Engage!"
