Added to my portfolio.
DGB looks like it has still some potential.
And widely supported.
Now that is one important aspect for me. It has to be convertable from within my multi Crypto light wallet, preferably. Or easy converted using at least one of the Crypto services like blocktrades, changelly or shapeshift. Where I prefer to use Dogecoin as an inbetween. And DigiByte fits in there nicely.
One other thing I always take a look at is the project website. Sometimes it can be tough to spot the difference between a mass fabricated Crypto and an original one, with real developers. To me a site for a true project is open, clear and transparrant. It will show me a clear view about the Crypto itself and where it is heading.
Impressive specs.
Well, 15 second blocks sure looks fast, about 120 transactions per second. And SegWit is supported by DigiByte. It has its own foundation and gives 852 DGB per found block. That will reduce at a 1% per month rate. Five switching mining algorithms and 43000 full nodes world wide. So very well decentralized. And in 2035 there will be 21 billion DGB mined.
A tenner, could be in it.
While I'm buying at about € 0.01 right now it might have quite some potential grow. Although I would not expect it to go beyond $ 10.00, yet I would be okay with it even going to $ 1.00, or a bit lower. So far I am more than happy with my portfolio. And in the past I already had DigiByte and sold it with a loss. So I could be wrong, again, on this one.
That reminds me to state to you only to invest in Cryptos what you are willing and able to lose. And your speculation might be as bad or as good as mine.
May the Cryptos be with us!
***DigiByte looks like a winner to me ***
