Or a pig in the poke
Be aware of the current flood of Scam spam.
If it looks too good to be true
It probably is too good to be true. And when a SPAM links to an apparant service website that asks for your main Steem password/ private key, then you better get out off there... Also, SPAM in a reply, or as a message in your wallet better be handled with the utmost care.
Check the blog of the SPAMMER, if you have doubts. Look at the comments it made. See how the SPAM comments are added clockwise. Look at the replies. And did the rotten egg account even upvote you? The danger of these hijacked accounts is that they will trick more members into getting their account hijacked.
Only looking at the reputation is dangerous, because the SPAM accounts had a hostile take-over. Where the SCAMMERS got hold of the private _owner_key, or the main password of an account. And at the moment it seems a lot have been tricked into the 30 day free upvotes. Or the resteem to tens of thousands of followers, but only a limited time offer. Sure...
Be aware
Now, advertising bulk resteems is like selling noise generators to the masses. It is totally useless and will just annoy the Steem community. Resteems are usefull when it is something you want your own followers to become aware of, posts that are worth sharing. These resteem services are basicly causing useless floods of posts, clutching up the home feed of many accounts. To put it otherwise: it is a waste of time, energy and Steem/ SBD. (At least I do think so.)
Often these kind of useless services do also SPAM a lot. And the proper way to deal with them is by a full hard downvote, also know as a flag. But the most dangerous ones are the main password / owner private key fishing SCAMMERS. So when something stinks like a bad fish, it is probably a bad fish. So stay alert...
Have a great one!
