Full consensus on GO!

Saturday 9th of june 2018 at 1300 hours UTC.

History was made.

It will take another 11 hours before blocks are actually being produced. This means the EOS main blockchain will really be enabled on sunday the 10th of june at 1200 hours. One week after the version 1 of the software was released. Things are starting to heat up, as soon many project will go live on EOS.

The whole blockchain bootup proces was a worldwide EOS community effort. And they got to a full consensus on a GO pretty fast. Something the suits everywhere maybe could learn from? When set to one mutual goal this might be helpfull though. Anyway, the genesis data for the main EOS blockchain is ready for take-off and expectations are set to ultra.

What will it be able to do in realtime? And what kind of Smart Contracts will be launched? Which ones will come from the EOS-hackaton? From the 13th of june 2018 things might become more clear for those who would love to use put EOS to some practical use. So stay tuned as things might get really heated up any day now. Just like the market price for EOS, things could really rocket to the next level.
