Did you know that Steem actually can function without a website, like SteemIt dot com? All that is needed are computers that can serve the data from and to the blockchain. And this decentralized network would make sure the blockchain stays stable and moves on.
The members, accounts, would of course need something to interface with the Steem on Graphene and Crypto Base blockchain. Now, that is were Apps like eSteem will make your day. And @good-karma just released version 1.3 for Android. Taking a great leap forward again with this release.
Mentions and Resteem notifications
This is an absolutely great addition that you can find in the eSteem settings. I turned voting notifications off myself, because that gave a lot of notifications. The others I switched on. And it will help building a better Steem experience. Building a better community. Making a stronger connection with your current followers.
Better insight in how your posts are valued by looking at resteems. And creating dynamic communication thanks to mention notifies. This is a game changer.
There is more
Too much to mention here. Like the build in payment system. Improvements to the editor. The market overview, that proves it is best to trade on the internal market. And there is a lot more to discover.
Images you just load up in the app itself! You can see which posts are using what kind of payout. And I'm actually using the latest eSteem to write this 50-50 payout post.
The Steem future is now
SteemIt dot com can continue, and it probably will. But it is also good to know that as long as there are full nodes serving the blockchain and apps like eSteem, we will Steem on!
Have a go at the eSteem app, it is worth it.
