The only thing that is quite stable in the SteemIt realm is the amount of rewards. For posting and curating that is about 40 STEEM per minute. This makes 57.600 per 24 hour round. In US Dollar that looks a lot less. At 0.15 per Steem that would give 8640 US $.
If the amount of Steem were shown as main potential payout value, that would be better I guess. As a European inhabitant I have a click with the Euro. Active members at SteemIt are from all over the world.
But we have one token in common: ₷TEEM. And @roelandp already suggested a symbol for it. So, as far as I'm concerned, make this a global community. Also reflected in Steem shown as the potential payout value.
