A play of words, true, can mean two things, that I'm in a hurry and have to go right away. Or in a crypto sence that I moved some value into Dash, the coin. The latter is true currently and it is not because Amanda B. Johnson managed to convince me with her videos. Although there were times that I watched here shows quite frequently. But, now we have our own, world famous travelling female herald, Heidi here, with her own show on cryptos and Steem, of course, I can watch that instead. Maybe her next episode will be about the current crypto pricerush. Yes, another reference to Dash, I know, cannot help myself.

Not that I have been an early Dash adopter. Until recently I just had some only for a short period of time. That was until I saw the raw potential that this coin had. This year, 2017, the Dash team are promising the release of their next frontier called 'Evolution'. What they show in promise is a true ongoing innovation of what started out as a Bitcoin fork. It is there in line with Steem, Bitshares and so on. While Bitcoin is quite conservative in its developement, but with a certain robustness build in that might help it into the realm of the financial trade this year. Exciting times, and this year, 2017 seems to have a key role in all of this. The year where Steem can celebrate its first birthday!

Trending from a subjective point of view

That I choose Dash last time over Bitcoin was because I forsaw a huge growth potential for Dash. Relative to Bitcoin this could be huge, even when Dash just goes tenfold, it could push the king of cryptos of its thrown, shortly after that. And then still be able to grow more, even becoming much bigger than Bitcoin. Yet, by that time Bitcoin will be an Exchange Traded Fund {ETF} and probably rocket to an almost unbelieveable All Time High {ATH}. Or could Dash give it a run for its money? Dash will overtake Ethereum soon, at least that is my guess. My gamble might be a big one though, because I made a promise to somebody that I would give a nice present when Dash goes beyond the 330 dollar for the first time...

And I do expect great innovations in the near future for Steem too. Where those cryptos that just are stuck in creating an apparant value will lose confidence on the market. This will become more clear in this crucial year for the blockchain technology. A lot of altcoins will start a rapid decay in value, and more and more investors will go towards the cryptos that show real future promise in their developement. My guess is that therefore a lot of the get rich quick forked coins will disappear very fast. Only real innovative ones will still have a chance to get massive adoption. The times where any forked coin could get pumped and dumped big time seem to be a thing of the past soon this year.

Bright future for clever innovative developements

The value that made me buy some Dash recently is based on trust in the developement. Just like I post here on Steem and are happy to read about the upcoming HardFork 17. Also the promise in the technology that is Steem to start innovations that will prove it is justified to be up there with all the others that matter. And on a short term, I expect Dash to rocket all the way to next galaxy. But not matter what, there are great crypto times ahead.

Again, like every time, a warning, do not eat your fortune, only risk what you are willing and able to lose. My guess is a good or as bad as yours. And ask yourself if you trust somebody who relies on the choice of three pigs, a bucket and some truffels. ;-)
