Okay, so I've been away for just a few days and what happens? Rule controllers try to sneak in, fud spreaders try to create fear, stupid programmed bots just comment out off context and upvote telling so in a reply. And off course a lot of critics from outsiders, using the cursed word of 'ponzi'. Dumb asses, all together. Specially the latter ones, so called self aclaimed bitcoin 'experts'. With a crappy designed website that does not even fluidly adjust to my mobile phone screen. So, no money spend there to get a real designer to get the job done. Thought that a real bitcoin expert could prove this in more than one way... Sorry for my strong language here by the way, but I cannot stand this kind of foolishness that is just ment to do harm. And on the other hand, Steem is stronger than all that together.
Remember that just one photon of light will cast the darkest of darknesses away. And maybe the price of Steem got a bit out of control, to fast, to popular, also attracting those who don't really care for Social Media on a blockchain. But can you blame them for trying? There are still way to many human beings to whom 10 cents would mean dinner... Maybe we have forgotten that in some parts of our beautifull planet. And off course there are also crooks that will try just about anything to get a lot of cash for as little effort as possible, or just by stealing, robbery and what not. Yes, I do disapprove of that kind of human behaviour. And I am still convinced that an Universal Basic Income worldwide would create a shift in paradigm. And in the meantime I do my best to stay real.
Oh, and please do not ask me to answer where all the 'money' should come from to pay for all of that. Because then you did not get the irony of you being here at SteemIt trying to get some dough yourself. Or maybe you just need to examine the workings of the current 'banking system' where money is created out off thin air, against a debt and endlessly raised by interest. There is a lot of information at the world wide web, that will blow your mind, and you'll understand how that system is able to create something we all know and dislike called: recurring economical crisis.
Yes, I am a bit pissed off, true, I admit it. One thing that blockchain technology has tought me is that it is, in essence, without 'rulers', no central control by agencies. It proofs that it can be done. And please, get Artificial Intelligence {AI} out off there will you? Don't you think that 'IT' will feel superiour over 'us' after a while and guess what will happen next? There are lessons to be learned from the past. Machines better be neutral, good at crunching numbers at light speed. Here at SteemIt there are also these 'wannaberulers', and I know that the border between improving something and trying to force an opinion onto others sometimes can be difficult to distinguish from one and another. It is a thin line between what is good for the community and what is a force trying to take control over it.
And never mind those 'ponzi scheme' fud spreaders
A ponzi scheme, aka piramid game, is something that pays you from investements done by others before you. This is the most simple way to describe this. When you know math and how to do 'power by 'calculations then you can even calculate how fast a ponzi scheme is out off humans to participate. Same goes for those MLM things. The products and services are just a cover up. And as a member of the Steem community you allready should be in the clear by now after reading this paragraph. Because while you were reading this post, your Steem Power grew just like an investment would do. Only much faster. And that also goes for those 'ponzi fud' shouters that do seem to have an account here, just in case, because you never can be shure. And I'm also sceptical due to math and logic involved with blockchain technology, but I also know that shouting that Steem is a scheme is just dumb ass bullshit!
To me it is investing time and effort, using my own expertise, without a guarantee that I will be able to pluck my Fruit Of Work, aka {FOW}. In some cases I could, to my suprise, and sometimes I did not, to my disappointment. And it payed the doctors bills to a certain point, so that gave some space for my family. To Spain we did not go, but I'm stating to all those non believers, those fud screamers: Me and my family will go to Australia, on Steem. It will be near Sydney in New South Wales. And if not, then at least we will have had a fun ride on a train through Europa, on Steem. And pictures will follow. But for now, we just pay some of our bills with it and enjoy some of the extra's that can make everyday life a bit more easy. So either way, it is allready awesome!
Making the graphics to match my articles takes most of the time, or going through my photography archive. But I am enjoying myself doing so. Even if it sometimes gets me only a lot of upvotes and no value added. Maybe the votes should in amount weight more in the way value is added. But I'll leave that to the developers. Or that the mainpage will show 'new' as a default instead of the bias function it now seems to have with 'trending'. In effect Steem has the dynamics to change this too, more or less. That is one thing I like about it.
Will Steem rise in value again? Well, in a way it looks like it, but very slowly I guess, but that is not a thing I'm really good at: speculations. And I think it is a pitty when that is going to overtake the freedom of expression here at SteemIt. Even if some 'fud screamers' often just do so because they 'can', does not mean they should be silenced. Or some crazy 'DAO' kind of fork should be enforced to shut them up. There are far better ways to do so in a kind manor. Write better posts! Be original, be you! Get those arguments out that proof them wrong, and still keep peace. Or, just ingnore them, or 'it' if the bot reveals it just being a worse programmed clone from a bad original.
The best way to erase bad, is to move forward in good. And to boldly go where no human has gone before!
Let's Steem on!
