Blocktrades was all the time.

Looks a bit more appealing to the eye at SteemIt dot com.

Bitcoin run, for how long?

Well, at least Changelly has turned Steem support back on. Still missing is Steem Backed Dollar {SBD} support. But Blocktrades supports all Steem variants, like it did and probably will do for the years to come. It is even possible to buy Steem Power {SP} there right away. Eleven Bitcoin will give a massive 34200 SP, for example. But you can buy Bitshares there too. Which I have been doing lately, for a bit. Invested a small amount in HERO with that. Unfortunately it was on hold after that. Still got a small amount of BTS ready to buy some more though. While Bitcoin is getting more and more expensive.

In the meantime SteemIt dot com had a looks update, now there is a header on your blog page. If you were already using the eSteem app you'll notice it is the same one you have there. On the blockchain side of Steem things have been set to higher limits, so there is more room available in every block. Strange to see how easy it apparantly can be done, witnesses agree, okay, then raise the blocksize limit to 64 KiloByte. That is a 1.25 MegaByte per minute, or 12.5 MB per ten minutes. Remember Bitcoin? The Cash version is going at 8MB per ten minute block. The Core version will use SegWit, but still is at 1 MB per 10 minutes. How long did the fight last in the Bitcoin realm? Well, seems DPOS beats all of them hands down. Just have the witnesses agree and hey presto, scaling is done.

Crazy crypto times.

Still Bitcoin seems on its way to break trough the 5K ceiling soon. Amazing to see how the total cryptocurrency market is going through one ceiling after another. Not so long ago, the total market cap dropped to about 68 billion and now Bitcoin has more than 69 on its own already. But it is kind of crazy, lots of cryptos heavy in the red, with the price of BTC also now in a slight dip. Looks like a lot of crypto alternatives moved to Bitcoin. And that is currently getting a bit tempered. For the others on the market it means the are on sale, as I learned a while back. Steem and Steem Backed Dollar seem to get a lot of attention, but that does not resonate in the market price of both. And Changelly turning Steem back on is a good thing. Because I do not like using privacy restricting exchanges like Bittrex. No, I prefer conversion services like Blocktrades, they really do a great job. And the offer an excellent helpdesk that fixes things right away.

Do not have a clue where this will lead. But it will sure gain some attraction for the whole of the cryptos realm. And I guess that Decentralized Exchanges {DEX} like Bitshares are becoming more and more interesting. Now centralized exchanges like Bittrex are setting limits to the amount of BTC their accounts can pull out. Think it is about 0.025 Bitcoin at a time right now, if one prefers to stay anonymous. It is a bit weird though, they are making money off of their clients trading and then restrict them from getting their cryptos out in a way they want too. But it makes the Bitshares solution all the more interesting, so I am going to buy some more BTS. And so it is a good thing they are for sale right now.

Remember though to only invest in cryptos what you are willing and able to lose. And your speculation might be as bad or as good as mine.

Have a great one!
