In a market where close to 1600 Cryptos are listed at Coinmarketcap dot com this is a very respectfull achievement. Many new projects came into excistence all jumping on the much hyped blockchain train. Tough competition on the Cryptos market and Steem gaining and climbing is a good sign.

Not only Steem is going places, SBD is doing well too at $ 3.45, also strong in the green. And it has been clear for a long time already that the Steem.blockchain was superior technology. Already it did over 2 million transactions in a day, without breaking a sweat! Delegated Proof Of Stake {DPOS} proofs it can deliver, like a Social Media Platform.on a blockchain.

Still undervalued? Absolutely, my personal prediction is still set at 12 USD per Steem. That would mean a market cap of about 3 billion. And still it would be too low, but at least the level from where Steem should make the next jump.

Unlike Bitcoin and others Steem uses 6 decimals instead of 8. This means it is much more scarse than BTC. Half a million compared to 21 million, taken the decimal differnce into account. And a lot of that is locked into Steem Power {SP} and backing Steem Backed Dollars {SBD}. And only half of all Steem ever have been issued.

No guarantee of course, but it seems those who earn Steem right now by posting, curating and holding stake are at the right place, at the right time. Remember when Steem was at 0.07 USD? It had a rough roller coaster ride, but it seems new All Time Highs {ATH} are ahead...
