How LUNA NFT Moonies could go for deep space.
Another mind boggle
This follow up the 'Moonies to make' article again is not science nor finance. Just another result from the muddle struggle that arises from a shambled life. So if you are still here reading this, thank you, we are amongst us again, once more. If you missed out on my previous publication about 'Moonies' than it might be best to read that one first. As I am quite the lazy bastard, I can not be bothered to explain everything over and over again. By now you also might have gotten that there is some tongue in cheek involved in this article. Not that I am not serious about this idea that I want to bring to mind, but I am in a not so dead serious mood today. After all, it is a sunny cold winters day here in Nederland, freezing cold, just the way I love it. Back to the subject now, I promise.
Imagine the idea of the Moonies really took off. Some clever minds made it real and happening. Of course it is all running on the Hive blockchain its second layer. Nodes have become lightweight, thanks to the Hive programmers team. Maybe you did not even notice, but the way you can interact with the Hive blockchain is fast and rock solid. Without the backbone stuff being fine tuned Hive could not head for the future of dApps, Smart Contracts, Second Layers and yes LUNA NFT Moonies! And there is one thing that came to mind when I woke up at 4 in the night, thinking about this kind of stuff. Even if the LUNA idea does not take off into deep space, for whatever reason, there is something that we need on the Hive blockchain as soon as possible! "What is it?", you might ask. Well, it is EPIC! (My apologies for yet another song reference, by the way.)
SWAP that honey!
Yes, that is the boat that we need to set sail on: SWAPs. And I do not mean what the Chinese seem to do with them cotton on sticks. Which reminds me of that sentence: "They don't like it up 'em!" (TV series Dad's army, it was Jones, the butcher, his catchphrase.) Okay, back on the subject, it is about decentralized Swap services. This is an important way to go, I think. Also for the Hive blockchain. Assume you own some LUNA NFT Moonies and there is this old computer game you want to purchase on the decentralized Covent market. If you buy the game you'll get a link to the IPFS spot it is stored, totally encrypted by the way. And it contains the legal activation code to be used with it. A couple of hundred MBs to download, easy as pie. But before you can purchase The Day After game you will have to pay. And you have LUNA, lots of them. But the seller wants BEER (of course, who can blame him). Now, that is where the smart SWAP system kicks in. In a jiffy you put the offer in. And the SWAP is going for it, searching all offers for swapping one Token for the other, until it all fits. It might be bad luck for you if there is no solution to be found. But there might be after a few swaps up the road. (It might need some patience to be practised.)
Bare with... Now, why would you need a human intermediate, like a bank employee, to swap Dollar for Euro. It'll cost ya. With the smart decentralized SWAP system you want to buy something with the Token you have available, but you do not want to be bothered by going to centralized exchanges and their KYCs and wot not. No, of course not, then you could go to the bank instead. Out with the in the middle crap, in with the free and open miracles of automation. In short, and do not squeeze this now, it goes like that the SWAP will let you know how much LUNA you need to cough up. And 'it' will handle all the SWAPs to make it happen! Meaning, the seller gets his BEER Tokens and you will get the ecrypted code to download that classic game! Now, this might take some time to make real, but I know there are some very smart coders who actually will make it happen. How about you, can you imagine how this could work?
