Now I am expecting some great influence from Bitcoin getting mainstream exposure. As the comedy series called The Big Bang Theory is quite popular on a worldwide scale, it will have an effect on all Cryptos. To me, seen from a marketing point of view, this is huge. It will not have the same instant effect as a mention on CNBC.

Yet, that is an investors and traders media thing, aimed at a small selective public. And shortly after that kind of airtime things get moved around quite a lot. Pumping, dumping, cashing in on the leverage, it is a repeating pattern in the realm of Cryptos. Just stay calm HODL and BTFD, you know what I mean, right, wink wink, nudge nudge.

The impact of being a subject of an entire episode from a very popular comedy series is enormous. Often people who are deeply involved in Cryptos tend to be quite technical about it. That is very bad for mass adoption, but they are Crypto experts and not Marketeers. And now we need the teachers amongst the Crypto enthousiasts. As this is the moment of the mainstream breakthrough, primetime...

The impact of Bitcoin being a subject in a popular comedy series like 'The Big Bang Theory' will be reaching far and deep. And that is good for all Cryptos, even though traders and investors might not pick up on this right away. It is a long term effect, going way deeper than one might think on first sight. When you want to have your product promoted in these kind of series you need to come with a big budget. Maybe you did not even notice the alien logo on the red laptop that TBBT character Sheldon had. But your subconcious will have noted it. And that is just one product placement in that series. Maybe it is fun to spot them all. Remember the episode with 'Siri'...? It is a big marketing business.

In time even an egg will walk. Before this effect really works through in the whole of the Cryptos realm it will take some time. From a marketing point of view for the whole of Cryptos this is a big thing. This year is the breakthrough for the blockchain technology. Mainstream simply could not ignore it, even if it still wanted to. And being a prominent subject in a popular TV show is huge. This is beyond payed for product placement...

The recent Crypto market dip is just part of a pattern. Even the short term effect of primetime mainstream exposure might just be a small peak. It is the long term effect that this will have that is what counts for all things Crypto, not only Bitcoin.
