Well, it seems a real solution has been found to safe 'the Dao' and in a way the future of Ethereum too. But it will take a hard-fork to do so. This mainly effects 'the DAO' and not Ethereum.
A minor software update will probably follow soon. 'the DAO' will refunded, in a way that all Ether involved will be saved and 'the DAO' will get a second birth. Allready the price on Ether is picking up again. And more news about the salvation of 'the DAO' will surely give Ether more gas.
