A DEX Asset.

To celebrate 380th birthday of the Tulip rush.

It's going to be huge.

While waiting for a payment to get through, I started doodling. Playing with the idea of the TULIP as a token, an asset. On a decentralized exchange by preference, of course. Just a few tokens and I will be giving some away, of course. Because that is a fun way to spread the word of cryptos. Had a look at Bitshares User Issued Assets {UIA}. But as I am feeling a bit under the weather right now, I cannot seem to get my head around it. Also as the Smartcoins and Blockpay Apps seem to get stuck on my phone there is no way to test the use of TULIP Bitshares UIA. Next thing that comes close is the Waves Platform. And as the App does work fine on my mobile. So I am thinking about using that one for the Tulip token. As it works fine as a browser App too.

The proces will be actually quite simple, as far as I can see. Just name it, fill in a description, how many tokens, how many decimals, re-issuable or not and then pay one Wave fee to create it. Easy as pie, so it can be done that way. Almost looks to easy, right? Having used NXT previously and recently Bitshares, it almost gives the sensation that there must be a catch somewhere. The market price of Waves was going up. That annoyed me a bit while I actually wanted to exchange some BTS for Waves before, but Shapeshift kept giving errors. Then when I had exchanged BTS for Steem, to be used for the services of Changelly, the withdrawel got stuck. Now it is no way near 3-2-1-DONE anymore. And I wish I had used Blocktrades like before. This almost is starting to look like a bad omen. As if not to create the TULIP token...

Well, do not know, but I wanted to test the possible release of a token/ asset on a decentralized exchange. Also for another reason, but that I will announce it when the time is right. The Tulip Bulb Mania coin came about as a kind of a joke. For a part because of all the bulb stories that get thrown in the air, every time cryptos hit the mainstream media. And that gave me the idea to actually create a crypto that is based on this misconception that cryptos can grow Tulips. Some might be disappointed by this knowledge that cryptos are digital holders of value and do not literaly bloom into flowers. In a sense they can bloom but that is from a market point of view. And when the Blockpay and Smartcoin Apps do work in the near future, I hope, then it is possible to buy actual Tulip Bulbs with them, using BitEuro for instance.

But why not already own an Asset/ Token that maybe can buy lots of Tulip Bulbs one day. One that started with a big wink, wink, nudge, nudge and then took off for proxima centauri? Well, it could, or it could not. As for the TULIP the same rules of all things crypto accounts. Only invest in cryptos what you are willing and able to lose. And your speculation might be as bad or as good a mine. The TULIP will only be released in a small batch, non re-issuable, meaning that is it going to be very rare. And when I manage to get it out there, I will give away some of it. Just for the fun of it.

The TULIP will be here to stay.

Orange and a simplified tulip, resembling a crown too. For the very imaginary it even might look like a cat with an eye patch and a birthday hat on. Also it has some lines that might remind of a market tendency of a crypto. There is a relation with Nederland, through the color orange and the crown. Also the Tulip Bubl Mania from 1637 was that thing that made Tulips from Amsterdam famous. Mainstream media, the old financial realm and bankers just love put out out there any time cryptos are mentioned, just like a magician pulls a rabit it out off a hat. And it never ever gets boring, now does it? Anyway such a mainstream devotion deserves an example, a true TBM {Tulip Bulb Mania} coin! That triggered the idea of the TULIP.

Imagine the laughter if the TULIP was called a Bubble, like during the Tulip Bulb Mania in the 17th century Nederland. And then seeing it go up in value, way above the initial 1134.451 Euro per TULIP. It will be no ITO, ICO nor a Bitcoin Blockchain Clone (like bcash). It will have a unique way of getting spread out all over the crypto realm. Where it will start to be traded on a decentralized exchange. But first I need to get above the weather again. Still want to invest in some other cryptos for my long term portfolio too. It can be done though, that I am sure of, one way or the other, the TULIP token/ asset can get real.

Have a great one!
