It could be bollocks really, anything goes when you are not trying to write for the big fish in the sea. Or to get trending in any way. And also important not blogging with the intent to get, any, payouts. Is that hard without using CAPSLOCK so it seems that you 'shout' out what you want to get across. And what to think of timing? This post will be way to soon for the big potential across the big water. Most of them are still asleep. But can it be done? Influence it the other way around? By doing exactly the opposite of what should spell succes here at this platform?
Made two of my goals blogging here so far. And recently I got in an argument with somebody at another social media platform about how things are biased here towards the 'pleasers' of the system. Being famous in the world of anything and arriving here, and in come the payouts. Not just one day fly, but every article written, huge payouts. Does that mean there is a bias towards this? Then it would not even matter that much if one had a pretty good build up reputation. Like I build mine slowly and steady, but now I've allready reached mine for august, what to do next?
You might have noticed that I did not use any of the 'magic' keywords used here at this blogging platform. Because in some very angry posts and due to some prejudiced triggered discussion I wanted to see if there was some truth in it. My payouts have been nice on average so far and even has been almost unbelievable once. Made my Steem Power reach to a level where I'm actually able to create mili awards and sometimes bigger ones. And one thing that I did do against every advice in was using the upvote as a kind of 'like' button, just because I can add a little value directly by doing so. When I like a reply: click. When I like a post: click. And sometimes I do reply too and keep on clicking the upvote with every response.
Be generous with your voting power, always
That seems to be wasting my 'voting power', as it has been told, but frankly, I don't care. Comply or lose my reputation, maybe, who knows, but I have not been convinced yet that it matters much. Sure, when you are at zero, but anything above that? Met some really nice people from all over the globe, some of which I have more interaction with than others, but in real day to day life that works too, right? For me that is what I like about this whole thing the most. Had an article done and ready to post, but decided that I did not want too, so I clicked 'CLEAR' and was done with it.
Instead I made this later, as a follow up about how not to do it, and would it really work? So, this is a kind of an experiment, could this make it to the trending page? Getting in big payouts? Or is it true that anything that does not fit the intentional bias towards fame and wealth does not have a chance. Then I'd have to look back and see what articles of mine did actually generate payout. Cause somewhere along the line I've must have done something that got right into the biasphere. Ah well, we'll see.
In the meantime there have been a lot of positive responses at articles I just loved to write. The main objective to have others read and enjoy what I have written. No worries, when I feel better I will pick up on that again, in Oadamster dialect, in Nederlands and maybe even some Deutsch again, who knows.
Think I have now done about anything that defines a how not to get into the bias realm. So, if this does bad, as it should, if the theory of how not to do it is correct, then we know in 24 hours.
Gives me time to get back on my feet again. Apparantly there is a stomach flue going round and I feel somewhat under the weather.
