The way we use language also tells us something about our belief system. Or what we are taught to belief. Maybe we even have been indoctrinated to accept things as being the one and only truth. Without really being aware of it we are lead to believe that certain systems are 'normal' and when you do not comply you could be outcasted. That is social pressure that will keep a lot of potential free spirits locked inside a human body. Acting social is like a butter knife, you can smear butter with it, but you can also wound somebody with it. By the way, social is just a word for human interaction within groups. It does not per se mean we share. Allthough that can be an aspect of acting social, being a part of human interaction in a group.
Even in that manner anarcho-capitalists can be described as socialists, allthough I know they would very much dislike me for that sentence. But still, anarcho-capitalism, or any 'ism' for that matter, is socialism, as it describes certain rules for humans to interact within a group. So anything that describes how humans interact within a group and does set boundries for an idealistic human society to construct, is in fact socialism. Now if this tickled you the wrong way could mean you have been heavily influenced by propaganda. One where another meaning is linked to a certain word. While when you would be open to shift your paradigm, you could maybe open up to the idea that you might have been enforced to believe socialism is bad, full stop. While it just really is a word describing human interaction within groups.
Social control, that has a dark side to it, absolutely, mainly even
Every human designed system that describes how people should interact within groups is socialism. Even the ones that state we have to do everything from our own free will. Is that fair? More fair than one that states that if we all share what mother nature gives us is best for all? It is both a form of socialism, and it wants to do so by governance in some sort or another. One thing that I object to in anarcho-capitalism is that it is biased to the ones who actually will thrive within that kind of socialism. That is why I do find SteemIt such an interesting socialistic experiment. Allthough I'm sure some people will feel offended by me calling it a social experiment. But again, if you do so, ask yourself if it might be possible that you are trapped in an indoctrinated generalizing paradigm? That could mean you are still subject to the powers that be in: divide and conquer...
What wonders me about anarcho-capitalists is that they call themselves anarchists but don't seem to have a clue about how that is, it seems to me like the opposite. Why? Because it is all constructed as a census suffrage system, bringing the good ol' days back, where the rich controlled everything. And what they took, claiming to be theirs, nobody could take back from them. It is a wonder then that they do focus so much on 'owning stuff' and wanting the right to protect this with arms. So much 'anti' this, and 'against' that, describing how things should and have to be. All about rights they demand, every one for themselves and only the strongest will survive. I don't see any peace and love in that, really. It seems a lot about ego driven, above all. And that is a form of socialism that could be enforced to 'work' and exchange the current system for a company based one. But I'm not sure if there is really is a choice in that.
There are 'security services' governance companies allready that are owned by so called libertarians/ anarcho-capitalists. And that is all about control, soldiers of fortune, allthough they would not call it that way and certainly they would not admit being hired by states and multinationals. "Guns for hire", that does not look like anarchism to me. It is capitalist-socialism in effect and instead of being controled by a 'government' you will be controled by 'companies'. Still, bottom line, you will be socially controlled by a certain system. That will have it's own set of rules, either you comply, or you die. For me this is allready where we are at. And I dislike this kind of social control. Or to put it in other words: anarcho-capitalists are not anarchists to me, but socialists who want to own capital without limits. That is just elitist behaviour, like the communist elite from the past, or in fact yet another form of socialism in practice.
Now, you did not see that one coming, right?
Still, I am keeping an open mind, but I won't care for any dogma motivated discussion about what 'socialism' really is, or how I 'should' see it. That means just that somebody would try to enforce his or her ideas onto me. If you believe that I'm wrong, then please be free to reply in that manor. And in my time here I might even to be considered the devils advocate by now. When you read some of my posts where I for instance explain how SteemIt is in no way democratic. And that it is a 'census suffrage' system, where those who have the most shares will make the most profit. You could try to change this socialistic capitalist construction, but I am convinced that it would be useless to try. A waste of time and energy, where you could remind yourself of the fact that it is all there in the open for you to see. If you really would want to. So, in fact, anybody here at SteemIt attends here acting out off their own free will. Including me!
Anarchism to me is closely related to Voluntairy Objectives. In a human society that is based on those thoughts there would not be any ownership, no money and thus absolutely no capitalism. To me that kind of human society can still be considered Utopian in it's current state. And when I read posts from anarcho-capitalists or libertarians that their socialism is the same as anarchism, then I know we still have to share our thoughts openly about this subject a lot. Starting with that absurd thought, in my opinion, that having the right to own a weapon will create a better world. Isn't that what got us in this mess in the first place? When kids are having an argue, would we all give them knives, just to settle it once and for all? At least SteemIt is a platform were I can still put these kind of posts. Even when we'll reach an agree to disagree, but that's okay with me. It just even proofs we are free to do so. Because: "I could be wrong, I could be right, I could be left and I could be right" (Thanks to John Lydon for his inspiring lyrics: PIL - Rise.)
We share, because we care
For me I do not see myself as having more rights then anybody else. In fact, I think that the whole 'rights' thing is socialism in it's purest form. To me mother nature allready provides all we need, so claiming one owns some weird 'right' to control distribution of the earths wealth is just absurd. Getting a weapon to force this believe onto others is the worst kind of socialism that excists. No matter if you call it 'defence', because then I could ask to what limit is it considerd to be so 'legaly'? Is it really freedom that you just can do anything your 'ego' wants? Even taking productivity of others and adding that to your own precious capital? And it is okay to do so because you are not 'the state'? You see, that is where libertarians, anarcho-capitalists and so forth each go their own seperate ways. And I cannot stand any form of socialism that does not dare to be honest about the way they want to (re)form society fitting their own belief system.
A human society where money is absolete is one of my voluntaty objectives. That means sharing amongst each other because we care and we love peace. There are movements like Ubuntu, the one innitiated by Michael Tallinger, and also the Venus project, innitiated by Jacque Fresco. Those fellow humans really do have some beautifull insights how to evolve into a human society that will be a joy to live in for everyone. Done by innovation, through co-operation.
And that will be a world without any governance, without so called leaders, where the so called 'authorities' have disolved into oblivion. No boss, no master, no ruler, we all will be living free, driven by our own voluntairy objectives.
