Voting on the Steem chain could it be done allready, or can it become a subchain

Don't know if this could fit inside Steem It allready. There is the 'upvote', well that would speak for itself. And the 'reply' could be used to discuss a vote-cast, to get those arguments in. For the 'yay' and the 'nay', the last one being the 'flag', while the 'I do not vote' would just move on. The innitial vote-cast could state that only a 1 + 1 round will be final, or maybe even three. If the caster of the vote would change the text within a round, voters could keep track and change their vote if they want too. And the choice to settle would be there to see. Even finalized, for future proof in a reply.

Are you still with me...? It is just one of many ideas that the Steem / Graphene engine triggered for me and still it does. Just wanted to share this with you. There is no guarentee that others have not thought of this, or will after this post. That is one thing to accept, that we all share many things in common, like having the same ideas, or alike in many aspects. For me that is part of being human, what often makes competition seem so useless to me. And when I'm asked where I've got that 'crazy idea' from, I point at volunteers, the open source community, association and foundations. Working together as a group with the same goal in mind, works so much faster, it creates almost instantly. You need to offer a lot to the competitives to achieve the same, or something that even gets close. For me that is part of a mindshift that is taking place on a worldwide scale. And the blockchain developement is a part of that.

So, that is one thing for now that I will lock into the Steem chain. That will be permanent, as long as the blockchain is still kept safe somewhere. It is a suggestion, an idea, maybe shared by others and some smart 'nerd' will pick it up and makes it happen. Or you might be the one who starts off with a vote-cast to implement a vote-casting system in the Steem engine. Who knows, or even nothing will happen, and only a #vote tag will appear, maybe just to sit there lonely and misunderstood on the Steem chain. Or it triggers a prediction system, that can be locked inside, maybe even now it can be used. Where a bot makes sure that the winner gets the Steem Backed Dollar.

You see, it just goes on and on and on. That is one beautifull aspect of this, specially Steem, think about what could be done with this... One thing that comes to mind, while I finallize this article, is that it might be a good idea to rename Steem Backed Dollar to Steem Bitcoin Derivative, now do we have a vote-cast here or what? It is closer to the real deal actually and the abbreviation SBD can still be used.

But I leave it up to you get it going and earn some votes. In addition it will boost your Steem Power {SP}, so that is then your Fruit Of Work for casting the vote. And maybe pay the developers team the SBD, while you can keep the SP. And I know that somewhere, out there in the Steem realm is now somebody who actually is going to make it happen.

It is often a fact that those who dream the most, actually do the most.

Dream on, Steem on!
