To refollow the unfollowed.
Strange phenomena going on at SteemIt dot com.
Or is it just me?
Now I was under the assumption that I was losing followers, by the bushes, because of what I posted. And that is okay, I can understand that. Freedom of expression: win some, lose some. Yet then I noticed some weird ups and downs in the value of the followers count. Technically that is possible too though. So, it is just the way it is, moving on.
Then I started to notice that I apparently was not following quite a few Steemians anymore, that I'm sure I was already following... This was not the first time this happened. Never mind that, just click [follow] again and be done with it. Strange though that there were Steemians amongst them that I had done this several times before. So, what the Steem is going on...!?
Could apps that have a posting key cause this? Is it a side-effect of splitting the Steem engine up in several substantive parts? It is still in BETA, so these kind of strange things can happen. Even that some of my favorite Steemians lose me as their follower, just like that. And also I could lose followers in the same way.
Then, if this is some 'leak' in the software, then more and more Steemians will notice. It could be that during the split up in several parts the followers data is slowly getting lost. Which would need a fix as soon as possible. Imagine that every Steemian needed to [follow] a lot of their mystically lost followers again... So, wazzup Steem machine?
